Shannon and I met at one of the lowest points in my life. She has a way of listening and getting to the root of what is troubling you, when you're too overwhelmed to see it yourself. Shannon will work with you to develop the tools to empower yourself to make the changes that you're seeking.
Adulting is confusing, and at times overwhelming. Shannon will give you the tools you need to make sense of your life and adult with confidence. The work is on you, but she will be there to cheer you on, every step of the way.
Shannon is absolutely amazing. Her experience both professionally and personally, allows her to be empathetic and compassionate. I used her services in regards to my children. My children fell in love with her right off the start. She made them feel safe and comfortable. Her concern for my children was always number one priority and she went far and beyond to achieve that goal. She truly cares about each of her clients!
Her background in social work, criminal justice and counselling gives her the ability to truly understand any situation(s) that may come her way.
She does not shy away from problems and is objective, honest and maintains professionalism at all times.
I highly recommend Shannon to anyone that may be experiencing any difficulties in their day to day, as well as offering her services in regards to custody, visitation and exchanges.
If anyone found their true path in regards to what they were meant to do, it is Shannon. Her love of all animals also adds to an already loving and kind individual.
Shannon has been immensely helpful in providing many tools for building and maintaining our relationship. My most memorable session was our first phone call where my husband and I were not even speaking, and by then end of our session we were re-connected and understanding each other. We have been working with Shannon for over six months now, on our own and doing couple sessions, and each time she helps us refocus and continue building our own personal growth and our growth as a couple/family. We wouldn’t be where we are today without Shannon and her calm words, and consistent support.
I would highly recommend shannnon for any type of counseling , she has helped me through very tough times , where I thought I would give up , but with the counseling and tools she gave me to help get through this . I have recommended her to many of my girlfriends and they love her as much as I do.
I found Shannon in one of the lower points of my life & with her help I’ve been able to climb out quicker than I ever would have on my own; all while processing the experience instead of pushing it away. She meets me where I’m at in each of our sessions & by the end I always have some sort of growth or discovery about myself. Shannon’s honesty, encouragement, support and her ability to pick up on things that I may not recognize are a just a few of the gifts she brings to our time together. It’s easy to tell that she is passionate & dedicated in seeing her clients succeed as she will always go the extra mile for you. I am in no way the same person today as I was when we first started just 3 short months ago. I’m beyond grateful that this happier & more confident version of myself has been brought back & I look forward to my continued growth with her knowledge & guidance!
I have been to many different therapists and counsellors in the past and I always felt like I never gained anything from the sessions. I was reluctant to try counselling again when I ended up on stress leave. I was referred to Shannon and I wish I had found her sooner! I was in a difficult place and she has helped me identify and use the tools I needed to climb out. I finally feel like myself again. Actually, I feel like the 2.0 version of myself! In addition she was able to screen me during sessions for ADHD and referred me on to be assessed. This has lead to a diagnosis of ADHD which I would have never found out about otherwise. This is so important for my health and recovery. My life is changing before my eyes and I couldn’t be more excited about it! I’m so thankful to have found Shannon!
I've been seeing Shannon for a short time and actually it feels like I've always known her and always have gone to her for help.
She has changed my life, my point of view drastically even my family has noticed a difference. She remembers every detail and she asks questions, she checks up on me, sometimes I have bad days and I don't want to put the work in and she's able to notice if the body/mind language is off and we start our session talking about it and I leave feeling happy, motivated ready to take on the world.
I like that she is LGBTQ supportive. I also like that she not only specializes in communication but also behavioral therapy. Very helpful for people who have a hard time communicating because they can be misunderstood, and also very helpful for people who are sensory over stimulated or under stimulated.
There's good counselors out there and then there's a unique one of a kind like Shannon.
If you believe in angels, she is one in a human form.
I felt very comfortable talking with Shannon right away about things on my mind and in my life. Full of knowledge and heart when it came to hard topics. I could just tell from her bio and seeing her in person she was exactly the person she wanted people to see!
Very open to ideas and future plans helping me reach to the potential I couldn't see before! All in all Shannon is someone I will recommend to anyone who needs someone to talk to, listen, and help.
Shannon is an incredible voice and ear. From the moment I walked in the door I felt completely at ease. Her knowledge and perspective is extremely enlightening and rewarding. Shannon has a way of helping you guide your internal dialogue into a positive place free of anxiety and judgement. Shannon's authenticity is what I value and respect the most about her and our sessions, I always come away happy and hopeful. I am grateful for her support and generosity.
